Designed On Paper is the paintbrush name for Anna Nunhofer.  She draws and paints on paper with an instinctive approach to line, colour and form.

Anna's inspiration is from the natural world, observing flowers and plants. Her particular interest is how botanical design can resonate with meaning through pattern and colour.  Her favourite artists include Odilon Redon and Lucienne Day.

Anna trained in book arts, and is also an art history graduate specialising in culture and community.
For years she developed learning programmes that engage people with art, working in partnership with community groups, schools and other artists at the Royal Academy of Arts, as well as managing Arts Council projects in local government. Currently, Anna is a Programme Manager at King’s College London.
